Get computer savvy 9th and 10th April – Free workshop in South Warrington

I.T. novices are being invited to improve their skills at a free workshop in South Warrington.

The Neighbourhoods in Warrington team is putting on a two-day ‘Basic I.T.’ workshop in Grappenhall on 9 and 10 April.

The workshop is aimed at beginners, providing as a basic introduction to I.T., and encouraging people who are not computer savvy to get online

It forms part of Neighbourhoods in Warrington’s work to help local people adapt to the rapid changes in technology, and make sure that no one is left behind.

The workshop will be centred around the most common uses of the internet, such as how to set up and use an email address, how to use search engines and how to find information on-line.

It will also touch on other areas such as Skype, You Tube, how to upload photographs and being safe and secure online.

The Basic I.T. workshop takes place on 9 and 10 April at Grappenhall Library, Victoria Avenue/Albert Road, Grappenhall, WA4 2PE, from 10am to 12.30pm.
